The empirical knowledge of the foot, which allowed the production of wooden shapes, was replaced by digital biomechanics, which favours the production of professional footwear capable of promoting the health of the foot, but also protecting it from the risks associated with different work environments.

The result of this commitment is a production of professional footwear regarded as Very High Quality - an additional guarantee for the consumer - in areas such as the internal temperature of the footwear, adequate weight, flexibility, the ability to reduce plantar pressure and absorption of shocks, the design, stability, or the materials involved. Specific footwear for diabetics, innovative solutions for foot temperature management, anti-microbial, anti-static insoles and technical socks and moisturizing creams are just some of the latest innovations that complement ICC’s range.

CLIMA CORK SYSTEM (CCS) is an exclusive system, which allows to create a natural environment for the feet, both in the field of temperature and their accommodation in shoes. Through the inclusion of an insulating layer of cork between the sole and the insole, CLIMA CORK SYSTEM regulates the heat and cold inside the footwear and gives extra comfort. The cork allows the creation of a kind of "footprint", favours its adaptation to the shoe and contributes to the reduction of fatigue, by benefiting the uniform distribution of the weight.
RESPONSIVE SHOCK ABSORPTION (RSA) system revolutionizes shock absorption in the shoe. With an open and extra-damping impact zone, it makes footwear more comfortable and the act of walking more pleasant and easy. The standards applicable to this characteristic of safety footwear require a minimum value of 20 Joules. Our range satisfies an average value of 60 Joules, but the RSA reaches 120 Joules in absorption. It is a performance six times higher than the standards require...
CUP SOLE uses flat pythons (different from those in soccer, which need more adherence to the field), as a means of benefiting foot contact with the ground. As shoes must precisely protect the areas of hyperpressure, the CUP sole model is made up of a series of flat pythons, distributed in a way that respects the natural walk cycle. The CUP sole model guarantees high performances, confirmed, and approved in collaboration with UMANA, the Center for Biomechanical Analysis, based in Vigo.
FÉNIX BOOT is an innovation capable of saving lives: it helps to mitigate cases in which firefighters put their physical integrity at risk by using professional footwear that is appropriate according to the law, but inappropriate for the extreme real conditions they face. After several tests, Fénix showed high resistance to thermal impacts similar to those of forest fires (500 degrees Celsius) and good integrity conditions for its user, even higher than the standards that determine the requirements to be met by firefighter personal protective equipment. .
THOR boot presents high levels of resistance to mechanical impacts possible in forestry operations with motor brushcutters. If there are situations in which weeding has to be carried out with the aid of brushcutters, the use of personal protective equipment must also be a requirement, such as THOR boots, which, in addition to the toecap, have a unique internal protection system against cuts. and punctures, which can cause very serious injuries.
AUGMANITY is project that allows the production of a model of professional footwear that incorporates electronic components for monitoring plantar pressures, which favours the activation of arterial, venous and lymphatic circulation and the well-being of the end user. Made in partnership with BOSCH, the University of Aveiro and Centi, it also has a fall detection system associated with it.
LAVORO WOMAN reinvented professional footwear for women: elegant options, with greater stability and morphologically adjusted. With the increase in the number of women in technical professions, it has become clear that it is not enough to produce professional footwear in reduced sizes. With the contribution of Spodos, a Lavoro department specialized in podiatry and biomedicine, Lavoro sought to understand the differences in anatomy between female and male feet, as well as their influence on body posture.
